About Purple Kush
An Oakland cross, Hindu Kush over Purple Afghani, and it sold itself on looks well before anyone talked about the smoke. Pure indica with nothing sativa in the mix, which you can read straight off the plant: short, squat, easy to keep out of sight, and dense enough in the foliage that moisture and shade become a problem in the middle. Pruning is most of the job. Cold snaps late on deepen the mauve, though whatever the forums say it does nothing for potency. Around eight weeks of bloom and a September harvest for the photoperiods. Grape and berry candy over dank earth, a smooth smoke, and a body weight that ends your evening.
