About Big Bud
Nobody can say for certain where the first Big Bud came from, which is odd for a strain this widely grown. The ancestry runs back through Skunk #1, Northern Lights and Afghani, and it has been on the scene since the early eighties. It leans hard indica, around 85 to 15, but at an 18% average it does not flatten anybody. You get a bright cerebral start, then about half an hour later a relaxed heaviness works through the limbs and clears your evening without pinning you to the couch. It is a session strain, and that is the point of it. As a grow it is close to foolproof: indoors mostly, under three feet tall, up to 600g per square metre, finished in six to eight weeks. The smell is pure old skunk and it will not go unnoticed, so sort your filtration first.
