About Bubba Kush
The story goes that it was an accident. Matt Berger, known as Bubba, had a stray pollination between his own Bubba cut and a Kush plant that was never stable, liked what came out of it, and passed it around Florida in the early nineties. Cypress Hill got hold of some and that was enough to plant it firmly in West Coast weed. Genetics usually get given as OG Kush over that Bubba indica, with Afghani and Hindu Kush somewhere further back. What you end up with is a squat, bushy plant that smells of hash, coffee and chocolate, and a high that builds slowly into dead weight in the limbs. Sixteen to twenty weeks seed to harvest, eight to ten of those flowering. Forgiving and consistent, which is why it keeps getting handed to first time growers.
