About Afghan
Middle Eastern hash stock, smoked in some shape or other for centuries and barely messed with since. Afghan is the yardstick the other indicas get held against, and breeders kept going back to it, which is why Blueberry and Northern Lights both owe it something. THC sits around the 20% mark and can test up to 25%, enough variation batch to batch that you start slow. The smoke is harsh and hash-like, heavy on pepper and incense, and the stone is almost entirely physical, lead in the limbs but cheerful with it. As a plant it is a gift. Short and stocky, rarely past a metre, happy in plain soil, wanting only the odd prune for airflow. About 500g per square metre is normal, and the resin output is the other reason people keep it in the rotation.
