About NYC Diesel
The New York origin story is the one everyone repeats and nobody can prove. What is agreed is the shape of it: Mexican and Afghani landrace stock with Sour Diesel worked in, which is where the kerosene over citrus smell comes from. Growing it is the hard part. Left alone outdoors it can run to thirteen feet, indoors it usually settles near six or seven, and the limbs are long, widely spaced and nowhere near strong enough for the weight of resin they end up holding. So stake it, top it during veg, strip the lower leaves, feed it heavily and give it ten to twelve weeks of bloom. Organic soil brings the terps out. Not a first grow.
