About Durban Poison
A landrace off the South African coast around Durban, which means nobody crossed it into being. It adapted where it grew and has been stable ever since, and that stability is exactly why breeders keep reaching for it. The smoke is daytime only: pine, sweet earth and a spicy anise note, terpinolene led, alert rather than heavy, with none of the body weight an indica brings. Eight to ten weeks is quick for a sativa, so you are not waiting around the way you would with a haze. Plants come up slender and tall but stay a manageable medium size, take low stress training and screen of green well, and finish outdoors around mid October up north. Dense resinous buds, bright orange pistils, good material for concentrates.
