About Gary Payton
Named for the NBA guard who had a fondness for the plant, this one came out of a cross between The Y and Snowman, which puts it on the same branch of the family tree as Girl Scout Cookies. It sits even between indica and sativa and that shows in the smoke: a head lift and a body settle at the same time, without dropping you into the sofa. In the garden it is forgiving. It stands up to mould and mildew well enough to go outside, it wants warm sun and humidity near 60 percent, and it will run to six feet if you never top it. Flowering takes 8 to 10 weeks. Fair warning, it stinks, so sort your filtration out early.
