About Banana Kush
Smell it once and the name stops being marketing. This is not a faint fruit note somewhere in the background, it is overripe banana, sweet to the point of being sickly, sitting on a bed of Kush spice. Predominantly indica, and it plays out in two halves: a daft grinning rush for the first half hour, then the weight arrives and you are not going anywhere for the rest of the evening. Around 23% in a typical batch, with a spread of 18% to 25%, so it is not a beginner's smoke. It is, though, a beginner's grow. Resilient, no real trouble through the cycle, topping out near 110cm, bushy enough to want the occasional prune and a close eye on humidity. Nine weeks in flower, about 350g per square metre. Budget for odour control, because this one carries.
