Seed Types
Feminized Seeds: Produce almost all female plants. No need to remove males. Best choice for most growers. You want buds, not pollen.
Regular Seeds: 50/50 male and female. Useful for breeding and finding strong mother plants. Males must be identified and removed before they pollinate.
Autoflower Seeds: Flower automatically based on age, not light schedule. Fast harvest (8-11 weeks total), smaller plants, very beginner-friendly. Lower yields but multiple harvests per year.

How Many Seeds to Start
Seeds do not always germinate, and plants do not always survive. Start 25-50% more seeds than plants you want.

Finding Quality Seeds
Look for: strong breeder reputation, germination guarantees, discreet shipping, detailed strain descriptions, and real customer reviews.
Avoid: extremely cheap seeds (you get what you pay for), unknown genetics, and seed banks with no reviews.
Genetics determine half your grow success. Even perfect growing conditions cannot fix bad genetics. Start with quality seeds and the rest becomes much easier.
