Seeds are the site's earned currency. Use the tools, stack Seeds, spend them on extra drawing packets and profile flair from the Stash. They can never be bought and never cash out, that is what keeps all of this legal and free.

How the draw works, and why you can trust it

Every entry is a numbered seed packet. Sunday evening we freeze the week's entries and run one hash: the week id, the total packet count, and a fingerprint of the final entry go in, one winning packet number comes out. The full inputs get published on the Winner's Wall with every draw.

That means nobody can steer it, including us. Same inputs, same winner, every time, on anyone's computer. If you can run a hash, you can audit your loss or your win.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Nothing on this site is for sale by the Sponsor. A purchase through any affiliate link does not improve odds of winning in any way. Seeds, the site's reward points, are earned free through site activity, cannot be purchased for money, have no cash value, and are not transferable.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of the Sponsor and members of their immediate households are not eligible.

Entry periods

Each weekly drawing runs Monday 12:00 AM Eastern Time through Sunday 6:00 PM Eastern Time of the same week. Each period is a separate drawing with its own prize. Entries do not carry over between periods.

How to enter

Submit your email address in the entry form on this page during the entry period. Limit one base entry per person per period. Holders of a free SWS ID may add up to 9 additional entries, called packets, per period by redeeming Seeds earned through free site activity. Maximum 10 packets per person per period. All packets have equal odds.

Winner selection

One winner per period is selected by a deterministic public draw: a SHA-256 hash of the period id, the total packet count, and a fingerprint of the final entry selects the winning packet number. The inputs and resulting hash are published with each result so any entrant can independently verify the draw. Odds of winning depend on the total number of packets in the period.

Prize

One digital prize per period as described on this page at the time of entry. Approximate retail value under 50 US dollars. Digital delivery by email. No cash equivalent, no substitution by the winner, not transferable. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if needed. Any taxes on a prize are the winner's sole responsibility.

Winner notification

The winner is notified at the entry email within 48 hours of the draw and must claim the prize within 7 days, otherwise a replacement winner is drawn by the same public method. The winner's first name and last initial, or an anonymous handle, appear on the Winner's Wall only with the winner's consent.

General

By entering you agree to these rules and the Sponsor's decisions, which are final on all matters relating to the drawing. The Sponsor may pause or modify future entry periods at any time; any period that has begun will be completed and drawn as described. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Amazon, Google, Meta, or any other third party. Entrant information is handled per the site's privacy policy and is never sold.
